A view from VIVA (and the Gulf Street) - Kuwait's lovely Winter <3

Benefits of working in/for a new private company:
  • New bathrooms ==> clean bathrooms and they smell good!
  • New, big building; many floors ==> great view!
  • Employees are fresh and enthusiastic!
  • Leaving work at 4-5 pm ==> great sky (only in winter, though)
That's it!

This is a view from the cafeteria. A little bit to the right and we can see the Aquarium. We often spot people walking their dogs or biking during lunch break. A few months from now we wont be spotting a soul outside =p
This photo was taken on the day of the Gulf Summit.

This is from the other side of the building, at 9 am. I looove this view!

They put these things yesterday on every floor. Nice try! If only I could understand what you're trying to deliver, top-guys =/  (my translation: This is some useless crap)

Isn't this loveleh? I usually take the 5th Ring Road to reach home, but decided to drive on the Gulf Street instead the other day. Glad I did!

Near home <3

  1. loooool, i disagree with you on the "useless crap" this is some marketing/psychological thing in which u see the thing over and over till it dose something with your subconscious mind to develop some kind of loyalty or whatever they want you to believe and act upon!
    i think they are trying to make you believe that stuff they wrote in regards to the work environment.
    my point of view, they should at least make it more related to the name like:
    V -> vibrant
    I -> Inventive
    V -> Valuable
    A -> Accomplishing
    i hope it makes sense now ;p

  2. It would've been better if they used your approach =p
    I know the thing they put wont have any effect on me even if I saw it every day for a 100 years hahaha! It's mentally intangible to me.

  3. That sign is called brainwashing you into thinking you work in a cool place. Everyplace I worked in had a similar thing going. Only thing that makes a work environment cool is the chemistry you have with your co-workers. That makes you work better, trust your managment to do the right thing, accomplish the impossible and flourish in your career.

  4. Isn't that right.
    I like it so far, only because everyone is so friendly and co-operative and they all seem like decent people. But then again, I've only been there for 3 weeks. Hope it stays this way!

  6. Hmmm we don't have anything where I work to "brainwash" us into thinking that we work in a cool place. I guess we don't. Sniff.

    Very nice shots, Noor! :-)
